Meet Jonathan Kahn DVM
Dr. Kahn grew up on the east side of Cleveland and attended Miami University for undergraduate studies before receiving a Master of Science and his DVM degree from The Ohio State University in 2008. After two years of practice in Ohio his family relocated to Atlanta in 2010. He worked for VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital in Chamblee for three years before realizing his dream and opening Peachtree Creek Animal Hospital in spring of 2018.
Dr. Kahn lives in Brookhaven with his wife Stephanie, daughter Isabelle, son Alex, and dog Brutus who many say bears a striking resemblance to Scrappy-Doo. Dr. Kahn enjoys golf, travel, and rooting for Cleveland sports teams no matter how hopeless it inevitably is.
Jude has been with the team since day 1. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Biology/Chemistry. He has over 10 years of experience working as a technician and became a technician because he has always loved caring for sick animals. As a technician he enjoys assisting in orthopedic surgeries, operating the laboratory and training new employees. “Medicine is the science of uncertainty and an art of probability” – William Osler
Sonya is originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin but grew up in Georgia. Sonya was a student-athlete at Point University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology May of 2018. She was a member of the Point University Women’s basketball team all four years of college. Sonya became a technician after shadowing at a large and small animal Veterinary hospital. She loves working with animals and assisting in surgeries. At home, not only does Sonya enjoy playing her piano, but she also enjoys spending time with her family.
Robert has been working with animals for almost 2 years. He is our receptionist as well as a technician. Robert eventually wants to start his own business that is built around animals.
