Meet Jonathan Kahn DVM

Dr. Kahn grew up on the east side of Cleveland and attended Miami University for undergraduate studies before receiving a Master of Science and his DVM degree from The Ohio State University in 2008. After two years of practice in Ohio his family relocated to Atlanta in 2010. He worked for VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital in Chamblee for three years before realizing his dream and opening Peachtree Creek Animal Hospital in spring of 2018.

Dr. Kahn lives in Brookhaven with his wife Stephanie, daughter Isabelle, son Alex, son Charlie, and dog Brutus who many say bears a striking resemblance to Scrappy-Doo. Dr. Kahn enjoys golf, travel, and rooting for Cleveland sports teams no matter how hopeless it inevitably is.

Meet Nita Vasudevan, DVM

Dr. Vasudevan was born and raised in horse-country, Ocala, Florida. She moved far from rural Florida and received her undergraduate degree at New York University (NYU) before returning back to Gainesville, Florida for a Master’s degree in animal science followed by the veterinary school at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to Atlanta after graduation to taste city life again and has held associate positions at both Banfield Midtown and THRIVE Decatur veterinary hospitals prior to joining the Peachtree Creek team.

Dr. Vasudevan lives with her husband and boxer-mix rescue problem child, Benji, in Brookhaven. She loves to live an active lifestyle, delves in fashion and event planning to spark her creative side outside the hospital, and is a total foodie in the Atlanta restaurant scene.

Meet Ashley Groll, DVM

Dr. Ashley Groll earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry, from Georgia Southern University. Following her undergraduate studies, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia (Go dawgs!). After practicing emergency/ general practice medicine in the Atlanta area for a few years, she joined the Peachtree Creek Animal Hospital family. She has a special interest in preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, and dermatology. In her free time, Dr. Groll enjoys spending time with her husband and their two pets-Griffin, a goofy Golden Retriever, and Zola, a spicy calico cat.


Tara is a native Texan, and transplant to the Atlanta area from Houston. Her love for animals began at a very early age, and her interest in working in the veterinary field was piqued while attending college at the University of Oklahoma. She has always seen the need for bridging the two worlds of medicine and hospitality and enjoys the rewarding challenges of leadership, problem-solving, and customer service. She strives for assuring that not only will our patients receive excellent veterinary care from our incredible team, but that pet parents experience top-notch client service and compassion as well.

When not at work, Tara enjoys new cooking challenges, spending time doing anything that involves being outdoors with her Labrador, Sid, and is an avid soccer and hockey fan.


Dexter is our technician supervisor. Growing up in Louisiana, Dexter started working with animals at a young age. Once aspiring to become a Veterinarian, he gained experience from small private practices, corporate practices, and fast past low-cost clinics. He graduated with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Louisiana State University. While in school, Dexter worked on many research projects in Ecuador and The Galapagos Island working with iguanas, anacondas, penguins, tortoises, and sea lions. With over 12 years of experience
working as a technician, he enjoys working surgery, monitoring anesthesia, and now working shifts overnight at Emergency/Specialty Hospitals as a relief ER/ICU technician.


Victoria has had a passion for animals her entire life, and has worked in the veterinary field for 4 years. She is currently in school to earn her registered veterinary technician license. She has 3 spoiled dogs at home, Roland, Delayna, and Peanut.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, traveling with her family, and trying to sneak additional dogs into the house behind her husband’s back.


Tyler is a Penn Foster Vet Tech student juggling being a wife and mother to a 4-year-old who loves animals just as much as she does. Tyler has grown up with animals as her father was a police K9 handler when she was young. She has a great passion for exotic animals and currently has a veritable farm at her house consisting of everything from ferrets to blind cats!

She can’t wait to meet you and help you and your pet feels better!


Andrew is a veterinary medicine student enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program. He also volunteers as a wildlife caregiver with the Atlanta Wildlife Animal Rescue Effort (AWARE), working with various types of wildlife. In his spare time, he likes to collect and listen to all different genres of music, play video games and watch anime.


Kendra was born in Germany, and raised here in Georgia. She has worked with animals since she was 15 years old, and started volunteering at an animal sanctuary every summer while in high-school and college.

Kendra has worked at humane societies, emergency vets, and boarding and grooming facilities. She also has experience working with a trainer with dogs who have food, dog, fear, and people aggression.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing poetry and playing video games on her Xbox one. Kendra has two adorable dogs of her own, a Pitbull and a Pitbull/Mastiff mix. She also has a young daughter who shares in her love for animals and is hoping she will follow in her footsteps.
